Eligibility & Enrollment

Enrolling in the Individual Placement & Support Program

To be eligible to participate in the Individual Placement & Support Program, individuals must:

Be at least 16 years old and live in Wake County.
Want to go to work, and have competitive employment as a goal.
Have a mental illness/substance abuse disorder that prevents them from finding and maintaining employment without regular, ongoing support.

There are three ways to start the enrollment process:

  1. Contact the Team Lead of the Individual Placement & Support Program at Community Partnerships, Inc.:

    When you contact the program directly, the Team Lead can help you with the enrollment process.

  2. Contact the Raleigh Unit Office of the N.C. Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services:

    Community Partnerships, Inc. contracts with this office to provide publicly-funded Supported Employment services. You can contact them directly and tell them that you are interested in the Individual Placement & Support program at Community Partnerships:

  3. Contact Alliance Behavioral Healthcare:

    Community Partnerships, Inc. contracts with this Managed Care Organization to provide publicly-funded Supported Employment services. You can contact them directly and tell them that you are interested in the Individual Placement & Support program at Community Partnerships:
