Dedicated to Service. Committed to Results.
Community Partnerships, Inc. has been supporting people with disabilities for over 25 years. In that time, our dedication to our mission and to the people we serve has never wavered. We are passionate about the work that we do.
Paired with this passion is a strong sense of responsibility. Our job is to get results for the people we serve. It is also our responsibility to demonstrate a high return on investment for the funders, foundations, individuals and others who provide us with financial support. All of our programs are based on well researched, evidence-based models of service delivery. Each program also embraces fiscal responsibility.
In the 2013-2014 fiscal year:
Over 1,500 individuals, families, and professionals received services from Community Partnerships.
- Over 200 adults with the most significant intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental illnesses, and/or substance abuse issues searched for, found, and maintained competitive-wage jobs in Wake and Durham Counties. The wages these individuals earned put money back into the local tax base.
- Over 150 child care and recreational providers received training that helped them fully include children and youth with disabilties in their classrooms and programs.
- Over 350 young people in the YES program living in poverty and experiencing additional risk factors worked to complete their eeducation, develop critical workplace skills, and began building careers.
- Nearly 200 individuals with disabilities found needed medical care, housing, transportation, educational services, and other community resources–services that helped them live more independently and pursue their personal goals.
